I set up The Pearl Room in March 2017. I was at the time working in St James’s Hospital but I wanted to pursue a different career in Beauty and to follow my dreams of owning my own Salon. I had enrolled with Waxperts on their beginners course and immediately fell in love with waxing and all areas of it. After becoming qualified in their beginners course I started doing treatments on family and friends to gain experience and build up confidence to proceed with my skills. Waxing without a shadow of doubt became a passion for me and I knew it was the career that I wanted to pursue.
I advanced myself on the Waxperts intimate waxing course and was awarded a distinction in May of 2017. I believed in the Waxperts Wax range and knew that I could build a business from the skills and knowledge I was taught with Waxperts. I worked part-time for 2 years building up my client base until I decided to take a career break from St James’s Hospital in April 2019. I now work full-time in The Pearl Room. I have always loved working with people and I have been extremely privileged to get to know my clients on a personal level and to know that they put their trust in me to deliver the highest standard of waxing available.
I now run a very successful Waxing Salon based in Clondalkin. My clients are the heart of my business. I always strive to ensure that every treatment received is the best that they can get.
The Pearl Room has a strictly “no double dipping policy”, which means that no spatula will ever be reused once it has been applied to the skin.
